A happy session {Vermont childrens photography}

I love photographing these girls.  I first photographed them a year or so ago when the smaller sister was 18  months old.  Now they are a little bigger and oh so fun.  We had a really really great time capturing some giggles.  I just love how they are so full of joy and love.

My favorite little guy from New Hampshire {New Hampshire Childrens photography}

Little  Nathan has been coming all the way to Vermont from New Hampshire since he was just a few days old.  It is amazing to see him grow and thrive.  He looks just as he did when he was born but now has a full thatch of great hair!  Nathan wasn’t really up to being in the studio this weekend so we took him outside where he flourished.  He sang songs to us with hand actions and did this adorable little wiggle of a dance – so sweet!  I have just loved having him come.  I hope that he continues to be photographed now that he is officially a “big boy”.

Hello to Kenene ~ all the way from Ethiopia {Vermont children’s photographer}

In the beginning of the summer I had the pleasure of photographing the sweetest little girl.  She has a glimmer in her eye, a huge spring in her step and didn’t speak english much at all (although I bet she does now!).  This little lady has been adopted from Ethiopia and we are so happy to have her here.  Kenene took part of a Celebrating Adoption session.  I had a wonderful time in the studio since she has such a great sense of humor and a little impish grin.  I even had the pleasure of photographing Miss Kenene in her traditional Ethipian dress.  Here are a couple I chose to blog of her session.  I had to add in the dance collage because I swear, her whole body lit up when she was twirling around in the huge petti-skirt.

{The many faces of Nathan}

I love photographing this little boy, I just wish I could see him more often.  He orginally came to be photographed as a newborn for the celebrating adoption program.  I photographed him again at 4 months and now yesterday at one year.  Actually his birthday is today.  Happy Birthday little guy!!  They live about 2 hours away so it’s quite a feat to get to the studio.  Here is a collage I made of Nathan that I’ve called “The many faces of Nathan”.  Don’t you just want to get down and play with this little guy?  And because it’s his birthday and he belongs to the Grow With Me  plan, I’ve also included a picture of what he looked like just after he came into this world.  Thanks for coming guys.  I can’t wait to see you in two weeks for our modeling session with big sister!

Family Fun

What gorgeous weather we’ve had lately.  A few weeks ago I just couldn’t get my timing right…every time I booked an on-location session it got too dark or started raining.  Not so for this weekend, the weather was fully cooperating.  This sneak peek was from a wonderful family session, two energetic brothers and their parents.  I’d have to say I love they way they coordinated their clothes, perfect!  Thanks for a wonderful time guys.  I hope you had a wonderful dinner after the session.  I’m sure the boys worked up an apetite!
