Beautiful 4th grader {Vermont Children’s photography}

I found out this weekend that photographing  a 4th grader is a blast!   Abby came here as a special treat from her Aunt, to have something nice and special for herself.  I was so pleased when she told me she was coming.    Abby introduced me to the Jonas Brothers…I had never listened to them before.  She brought the album with her and I swear, each song was her favorite!  It was great seeing the different outfits she brought and all the accessories too.  Gosh, this girl has way more accessories than I do AND she can put them all together!!  It was such a nice treat for me and I hope that she enjoyed herself too.  I have so many really really cute captures, it was hard to choose just a few for the blog.

Slideshow of Hannah

A couple of weeks ago I had a blast photographing Hannah, she is an 8th grader living in NH. I have photographed their whole family for some time now. I always look forward to the session, which ever it may be because they are always so much fun. This one was definitely no exception! Here’s a quick slideshow of the captures that I got of Hannah. Give it a few seconds to load and enjoy!

{The many looks of Hannah}

I had a great time with Hannah a couple of days ago.  She’s  in the 8th grade and lives in NH which is a good 2 hours away from the studio.  So not only did she get to come hang out with me for a couple hours, she got to take the whole day off school too!!!!  Hannah – you’re parents are totally cool!  We got so many images, I just love the way she looks in front of the camera.  I had a hard time choosing images for the blog but here are a few different looks to share from our modeling session.  It was a blast Hannah, I can’t wait to photograph you for your senior pictures in…..3 1/2 years!

Sisters

Lately I have had the pleasure of photographing kids that are still kids, but a little bigger.  This last session was such a treat for me.  I had a lovely family with two beautiful girls that were naturals  in front of the camera.   Besides their seeming comfort in the studio, what was so amazing about these girls was their connection with each other.   I could have photographed them together all day!  They probably don’t think this right now but as they get older I have a feeling that  they will know how special it is to be and to have a sister.

Here’s my favorite sister quote… because it is so true.

A sister is a little bit of childhood that can never be lost.

Eleven, Nine and 3 months…

What a treat I had the other day when the most polite boy came to my door and said “pleased to meet you and what a nice house you have”!! Politeness goes a long, long way – I was smitten! We had just a lovely time inside the studio. It is always nice to photograph children that will look, smile and listen! Here are a couple sneak peaks of the session. The little girl is such a beauty, I just love this image of her and then I have a shot of all three of them. The smallest lady of all was not enjoying the session as much as everyone else but I think we got some good ones of her. Happy holidays.
