Fun in the park.

I had a session the other day with the sweetest little boy ever! He was full of smiles and only too happy to go on an adventure in the park with his mom and dad. If you could ask him what his favorite part of the photo session at the park would be, I bet he would say “throwing leaves in the air with my Dad and blowing grass whistles with my mom”. Here are a few captures from the beginning of the session.

“I’m just so happy they’re mine!”

“I’m just so happy they’re mine”…this is a direct quote from a sleep deprived mother of newborn twins and a 20 month old ball of energy!    This mom, grandma (and photographer) was all happy to gaze lovingly at these little miracles.  While they look peaceful here, let me tell you there is a lot of work behind the scenes.   I think we worked together for almost 3 hours with these little ones.  Here are a few sneak peeks of the twins and then I couldn’t resist a little outtake just for fun of big brother.  At only 20 months old, he is still a babe himself.  He is very enthusiastic about his new little playmates!  Enjoy.

Sweet P.

This little lady came into the world in a very dramatic way but you’d never know it.  She was as peaceful as could be.  She didn’t seem to mind the fussing with her little hands and feet or moving her from her dad to her mom to the bean bag.  Mom and Dad are so mellow too so it’s not that surprising I suppose!  At 8 days old she is quite a beauty I must say.  Here’s a few sneak peek images from our session today.

A few more just for fun…

After I have a session I always promise to put a few images on my blog for a “sneak peek”. It makes the waiting for the final pictures to be ready just a little more bearable. Often I will quickly scan through the images captured and post a few here. A lot of times I will come across many many more that I want to put on the blog but I don’t want to bore you all. But this time I think I will (not bore you but put some more up from a recent session!). This is my little guy that came for the Celebrating Adoption Session. I am ready to post his gallery for his parents and thought I’d share a few more with you all. For some reason I am partial to little boys, suitcases and teddy bears! I took some images of my own son at about the same age with these same suitcases and they are some of my favorites. I love that this he is wearing a tie! Too cute. I added a treatment to these portraits to give them a bit of an old fashioned painted look. Thanks for looking.
