Eeeeek! There’s a mouse in the studio

OK, maybe not what you were expecting! This little mouse came to take advantage of our halloween mini sessions. There is still availability if you’re looking to have your little one captured. Contact Louisa at 876-7422 or email info@louisalarson.com.

While the leaves were still here…

The leaves are gone now.  It was all I could do to have the groundskeeper (aka husband) keep the leaves around for a few mini sessions of the fall!  I love these two little girls, both so beautiful.  The smallest being so fast and curious and the older being so protective and loving.  Here is a shot of the two of them and another with a more editorial look…she always reminds me of a model, it’s hard to believe that she’s only 6.

Happy Birthday E

I had the pleasure of photographing a newly turned 7 year old the other day.  It is such a fun age to photograph.  Mr. E  was so good and sweet and friendly I couldn’t believe it!  He was willing to do whatever I had in mind, even to climb trees.  Well, what boy doesn’t want to climb trees?  Ha ha!  Here are a few images from his session.  Thanks mom and dad I had a really nice time hanging out with you too.

Sweet “O” turns one.

People that know this baby, love this baby.  People who don’t know this baby want to know her or at least comment on her hair!  She has the best little personality and it’s already a big one at one year old.  When she’s happy she is SO happy and when she is mad she is SO mad!  We had a fabulous session the other day.  It was the 4th session of the year.  It started out oh so happy, giggling, laughing, you name it.  By the end of the session ummmm….not much giggling!  She was MAD!!  I guess she didn’t like the cake we tried to give her!  Today she had a big party, I hope that it went well.  Here are a few pics of the session.  I just couldn’t decide which to post so I’ll post a few.  Thanks Lady O, as always it was a pleasure.

I couldn’t resist

I had a session today with the cutest little boy.  I took so many pictures that I haven’t even had a chance to go through them all yet.  I also took some pictures of his best friend Adie.  It’s rare that I have a dog in the studio, but I love it.  She was the best.  Instead of sitting she just flopped her whole body down onto the floor, legs out and chin down!  I couldn’t resist this shot and wanted to share with you.
