As always, a pleasure! Many of you might remember this little sweetie as the “nest baby”. He has grown up quite a bit and is very happy about it! What a great little personality he has, just a joy to be with. Big sister as usual is a big help and had quite a good time herself. Happy New Years guys.
I photograph this family a lot and recently they had asked me to come and capture the family as they gathered for the holidays. I could be wrong but I think from 3 different states? Anyways, they are always fun and pretty much up for anything. Here are a couple of family pictures as well as an engagement photo. Congrats guys!
I have been soooo quiet on the blog lately. Sorry about that. Things have been super hectic around here with the holidays, getting last minute orders in, creating holiday cards, baking, building snowmen, creating my OWN holiday cards – late of course…the list goes on. I have many, many things to blog about but I’ll start with the sweetest tonight.
This little gem has been born into a lovely family of 3 brothers, all of which completely adore her. I drove out to their house during a winter storm (see now you know it’s been awhile!) to capture her in her own little comfortable setting. Her brothers were thrilled ( that’s pushing it a little) because they got to only have a half day of school so I could take pictures of them with their little sister. Here are a couple captures of the newest sweet little gal.
What a treat I had the other day when the most polite boy came to my door and said “pleased to meet you and what a nice house you have”!! Politeness goes a long, long way – I was smitten! We had just a lovely time inside the studio. It is always nice to photograph children that will look, smile and listen! Here are a couple sneak peaks of the session. The little girl is such a beauty, I just love this image of her and then I have a shot of all three of them. The smallest lady of all was not enjoying the session as much as everyone else but I think we got some good ones of her. Happy holidays.
I always thought the word “tween” was a funny one. It’s probably not even real but it really does work for this inbetween age group. They are not young children but not quite teenagers yet. I will admit this is one of my favorite ages to photograph. I don’t see many 11 year olds. I’m not sure why, perhaps because they are so busy with school and friends. But it is such an important age to capture and I’m happy I had the opportunity to with this young lady.
