Basin Found Camera

Sometimes people do great stuff without ever wanting anything in return…sometimes.  This is a wonderful story about a man who went hiking in New Hampshire.  He saw something shiny in the river below and went to investigate.  The short of the story is that he found an old camera and was able to retrieve 250 pictures off it.  He has now set up a blog called The Basin Found Camera to try and reunite the camera with the rightful owner.  It looks like there are some memorable pictures on there too.  Here’s the link to his blog.  Pass along the word if you know someone in NH!  Thanks to the good guys that keep our world a nice place to live.

The Larson Trio

My morning portrait session was cancelled yesterday. I had the studio ready to go so I thought the kids might like to come in and play. I rarely get pictures of my kids in the studio. As many of you know photographing 3 children is quite a feat! Here are some of the captures I got. Ella had a fever so she didn’t move much and was quite solemn. Madeleine is mostly interested in dancing around so I only got one of her being still, the rest were all action!  Griffin is at the stage where he’s either giving me a huge cheesy smile or staring me straight on. I love both expressions!

Sweet 3 week old

I had the cutest smallest little bundle in the studio the other day.  He was a whole 3 weeks old, quite long, very little and VERY alert!  Usually the little babies fall asleep eventually but this little one really wanted to know what was going on.  We did manage to get him to sleep for a couple of images.  Here is a of portrait of Mr. B and one with him and his lovely mama.  Thanks for coming in guys, stay warm.  I’ll be in touch soon with the rest of your gallery.
