{The many faces of Nathan}

I love photographing this little boy, I just wish I could see him more often.  He orginally came to be photographed as a newborn for the celebrating adoption program.  I photographed him again at 4 months and now yesterday at one year.  Actually his birthday is today.  Happy Birthday little guy!!  They live about 2 hours away so it’s quite a feat to get to the studio.  Here is a collage I made of Nathan that I’ve called “The many faces of Nathan”.  Don’t you just want to get down and play with this little guy?  And because it’s his birthday and he belongs to the Grow With Me  plan, I’ve also included a picture of what he looked like just after he came into this world.  Thanks for coming guys.  I can’t wait to see you in two weeks for our modeling session with big sister!

The big smile!

I have had the pleasure of photographing this family and Andrew a couple of times now.  During our last session he was at the end of many many years of braces and we couldn’t coax a smile to save our lives.  Now a month later he is back and has a huge grin!   Here is one from the session.

Model Session

Here is the latest modeling session we had at the studio.   She’s such a sweet heart and wonderful to work with as well.  Miss. S.  has a better wardrobe than I’ve ever had with matching shoes, belts and hats.  All at 7 years old too.  Watch out “America’s Next Top Model”,  looks who will be knocking on your door soon!

{What a great day!}

At least I thought it was a great day when I heard that it has been exactly ONE year since this little girl’s family picked up up in China.   But little miss J was not very excited about it.  Maybe she knew the next stop was the doctors office?!!  While she was quite serious in the studio, she is still very beautiful.  Here’s a capture of one of her more demure moments.

{How to be happy}

I ran across this today and thought I’d pass it along.  This is written by Tim Brownson, a Life Coach.  He has a great blog that you can view here

Enjoy and be happy!

Ask more questions, not the same questions more often
Recognize you can be whatever you desire to be
Know that performance does not equal identity
Realize that you are the equal of everybody
Realize that you are the better of nobody
Appreciate you did the best you could
Face the future, live for the moment
Understand suffering is part of life
Accept you will make mistakes
Breathe from your diaphragm
Smile when things get tough
Always be kind to yourself
Think before your answer
Visualize Your Success
Take time for yourself
Make time for others
Listen with interest
Suspend disbelief
Embrace change

Be curious
