Welcome to the world little man! {Vermont newborn photographer}

I have been hearing about this little man even before he was conceived – seriously!! I have had the pleasure of photographing the first child from this family from teeny weeny to big brother and now comes Griffin. Griffin’s mom and I were talking a few years ago about baby names. My son also happens to be called Griffin and when she found out I got a squeal of joy! It turns out that her maiden name is Griffin, so if she were to be blessed with another boy, he would take on the family name. When she called to say that he was born, I was so excited to finally meet this little man. When he got here I had another great surprise…she brought his namesake. The one and only Grandpa Griffin! I have to say that’s it’s always a pleasure to photograph across the generations and this one was certainly no exception. Thanks for coming y’all. I loved every minute of it. I hope you enjoy your portraits.

Introducing Baby L. {Vermont newborn photographer}

There have been so many newborns lately, more than I can ever remember at once! I am happy to introduce Levi. What a tiny little smiley baby he is! From these portraits you’d think he smiled his whole way through his very first portrait session! At 7 days old he’s very alert and already interested in what is going on around him. I just know that he’s going to keep his mom and dad on their toes when he’s moving around – give him a couple of months!! Here are a few pictures that I captured of him as he was drifting off to sleep.

What a little peanut {Milton newborn photographer}

I was so excited to get the call that the much anticipated birth of Little Miss “A” was here.  She made it to term and what a beauty she is.  With a full head of hair and the most beautiful lips I have seen in ages…she’s a photographers dream!  It took a little coaxing to get her to sleep, but when we did it was smooth sailing from there.  Here are a few captures from a beautiful session with a beautiful little girl.  I must add kudo’s to her big sister (2 years) who spent the entire time playing dress-up and bath-time with an array of teddy bears, flowers and Daddy of course!  She was absolutely on her best behavior and well deserved the lollipop she got before she left.  Thanks for coming everyone, I hope you enjoy your portraits.

Sweet newborn Raif {Plattsburgh Newborn Photographer}

What an amazing session this was.  Sweet little Raif at barely a week old came to the studio from Plattsburgh.  I’m not sure how many newborns get to ride the ferry before they are two weeks old!  The trip didn’t seem to phase him a bit.  He’s pretty much as mellow as they come.  After a little bit of milk we were good to go.  I even got some smiles too!  I hope you enjoy these, I know I had a wonderful time taking them during our 1st portrait session.  Lucky for me, he has joined our “Little Blessings Plan” so I get to see him every three months.  I just love to see they way they grow.  I have to say though that my favorite is the newborn session, and below you’ll see why.  Enjoy.
