Sweet baby doll face {Burlington children’s photographer}

Look at her little doll face!  Sweet Isla came for a visit a couple of days ago.  I know she wasn’t feeling quite herself since we didn’t get any huge smiles.  But I love the way you can really see her gorgeous eyes when she has her more soulful look.  At 15 months old she sure  is a busy little girl.  She had a great time sharing all the teddy bears with her Mommy then lining them up against the studio wall – sweet.   We managed to sneak outside between the light rain as well.  Here area  a few captures from the session.

Meet Lauren ~ Essex High School Class of 2010 {Essex senior portraits}

It’s that time of year again when all the in-coming seniors are looking forward to their last year of high school.  Lauren and I had a wonderful time taking advantage of Vermont’s natural settings.   Here are a couple from the session.  You can see more on my  Facebook Page.  Why don’t you become a fan while you’re there?!  Thanks Lauren for a wonderful time, I look forward to hearing about how your college visiting trip went.

Brand new Vermonter! {newborn portrait photographer}

I am so pleased to introduce little man Liam.  At the time of this photo session he was 6 days old…and what a head of hair he has!  The session was supposed to be a maternity session for mom but Liam had his own plans.  With a big bang into the world three weeks early Liam decided to be born only 18 minutes after arriving at the hospital via ambulance!  Surprisingly Mom and Dad seemed very calm about their experience and are over the moon about their new little guy.  I’d have to say that this session went really well.  Liam slept through the whole thing, which is really rare.  I guess it helped that the studio was 86 degrees!  Here are a few images from the session.

Hello to Kenene ~ all the way from Ethiopia {Vermont children’s photographer}

In the beginning of the summer I had the pleasure of photographing the sweetest little girl.  She has a glimmer in her eye, a huge spring in her step and didn’t speak english much at all (although I bet she does now!).  This little lady has been adopted from Ethiopia and we are so happy to have her here.  Kenene took part of a Celebrating Adoption session.  I had a wonderful time in the studio since she has such a great sense of humor and a little impish grin.  I even had the pleasure of photographing Miss Kenene in her traditional Ethipian dress.  Here are a couple I chose to blog of her session.  I had to add in the dance collage because I swear, her whole body lit up when she was twirling around in the huge petti-skirt.

Beautiful Miss K.

Nick~ Senior portraits {Vermont senior portrait photography}

It’s that time of year again…back to school time.  This year we have a whole new set of “Upper Classmen”,  the graduating class of 2010.  Meet Nick, he goes to Colchester High School.  We had a pretty laid back time last Friday.  The weather was beautiful, although quite humid… we just strolled around taking advantage of some pretty nice textures in Shelburne (one of my favorite places to photograph).  Nick loves to golf and admits that he is good!  *snicker* – he probably doesn’t want me to say that publicly, but hey… I guess he really is pretty good.  Here are some captures of him from our session.
