A little 3 monther {Stowe baby portraits}

I had the honor of photographing this beautiful little 3 month old a couple of weeks ago. Typically a 3 month old session is a little tricky. The 3 month old is wise beyond her time. She knows what’s going on and knows that she can put a stop to it if she doesn’t agree with what’s happening. Well, lucky for me this little 3 month old seemed quite content. She wasn’t going to let us have her sleep at all but that’s OK…we got some beautiful images with her connecting with mom and dad. I just love her gorgeous big eyes and creamy creamy skin. Thanks for trekking all the way out here guys. I hope you had a wonderful first Thanksgiving with your new little one.

Two sweet little boys {Burlington children’s photographer}

I had the pleasure of a little visit from these sweet boys last week. I could really tell that older brother loves to take care of his little brother. He was making sure everything was just right, staying close by and every once in a while giving him a quick squeeze! I’m not too sure little brother was too happy about that but I know that these boys are going to grow up having so much fun together. Here’s a couple of images from their session.

Perfect weather for a portrait party {Vermont Children’s photographer}

While it was gray and rainy outside today we had a grand old time at a portrait party in Williston. I set up my studio in a house and entertained (or tried to) 13 different families while I captured them and their little ones. It was a wonderful day. Here are the sneak peeks from each family. Thank you so much for taking time out of your day for these portraits. I can’t wait to show you the rest. I’ll be in touch soon.

I’m thankful for these beautiful days

This is my own sweet Madeleine. I wish I could just follow my children around with my camera and be invisible. I’d love to capture all the little things about life that they find interesting or just capture them day dreaming thinking about nothing in particular. This was one of these moments…Madeleine is actually quite far away and she had no idea I was watching her frolick on our hillside. I just love the trees, the color of the sky and how she is just lit up with afternoon sunlight. The way she’s walking down the hill also reminds me a lot of Little House on the Prairie…so innocent and sweet.

It doesn’t get any better than this {Vermont newborn photography}

Little Norah came to be photographed last week. She is one month old and full of personality already. Miss. Norah was totally not interested in sleeping during the session. Mom tried and tried to get her to nod off but I think it was all a bit too exciting for her. No worries though…we got some beautiful captures of her being alert and gazing into her parents eyes. There’s nothing quite like looking into the eyes of your sweet little baby. Thanks so much for coming to the studio guys. I’m sure she slept a big fat nap during the car ride home and then some! Here are some images from the session.
