Lovely 5 day old {Vermont newborn photographer}

This sweet little boy and his whole family came to the studio for a session this past Sunday. I was so honored to have him here considering he is only 5 days old and everyone travelled an hour and 45 minutes to get here. Baby C came with his two big brothers, his mom and dad and even Grandma. Little C wasn’t so sure he wanted to cooperate but then with a full belly we were able to get him sound asleep for some great portraits of him in his first few days. Here’s a couple from the session.

Miss Olivia in the city {Burlington Lifestyle photographer}

Right before the holiday craziness I wanted to break away from the norm a little bit. I needed to get out of the studio and out of the office. For ages I have thought it would be so much fun to do an urban photoshoot. This would include brightly colored clothes and a little bit more trendiness than I tend to see in the studio. I wanted to include this with the awesome backdrop of Burlington with all of it’s colors and textures. I asked one of my favorite little clients if she would be willing.  Of course her little two year old self didn’t really have much of a say in the decision but her mom agreed that it would be fun.  I knew that she’d be the perfect little model.  I will start photographing Urban Sessions in April. If you are interested in this style of unique portraiture please contact me. Here’s a slideshow from our session.

The sweetest two year old {Burlington Children’s photographer}

Today I had another two year old to photograph in the studio. This little girl is also a baby planner baby so I have had the opportunity to photograph her since she was just a little tiny baby. When she walked in the door I could see she was just a little bit shy but then when all her snow clothes were off and she came into the camera room all the shyness disappeared. She had seen the teddy bears! She instantly become a little mother rocking the teddies to sleep and cradling them just right. When she got dressed in her gorgeous Christmas dress she picked up the biggest teddy of all and danced around the room with him. What a little cutie! Here are a few from the session today.

Little Ethan is all grown up {Vermont Children’s photography}

I frequently post these two adorable children on my blog because Ethan is at the tail end of his the baby plan. I’ve had the pleasure of photographing them since little E was still a bun in the oven! Now that he is two, he has his own ideas of what he should be doing. But that’s OK, because it’s such a great age to capture even though he kept me on my toes. Here’s a couple from our session, with big sister Anna of course.
